There is a new online magazine which is totally worth your time and it’s called Wander.
A quick word beforehand:
When I started this blog, I chose to name it “Road Trips around the World” as, I had realized that, during most of our travel, Mr A. and I would end up in a car, not just for a short ride to get from one place to the other, but to actually cross countries and travel distances that might be best traveled by other means of transportation.
Yet, it doesn’t mean that we don’t care about the environment. To the contrary!
Indeed we often travel by car, but we cycle to work! 😉 And the simple fact that we are mostly vegan obviously has a huge positive impact on our carbon footprint… I’m not going to list here what we do and don’t, I just wanted to highlight that, we care… a lot… despite our road trips!
So when I found on Instagram the link to Wander, I had to check it out. Wander is a new online magazine which focuses on sustainable travel and wellness and is packed with great articles, useful tips and yes, beautiful pictures which will nourish your wanderlust and maybe your appetite!
Hey, they also have a USD 500 holiday gift giveaway which you might be interest in! www.wander-mag.com
I’m not quite sure, but it seems that Wander was created by the same people who are behind ecowanderlust.com which is a fabulous website you should check out as well. Their mission statement (and there is obviously no copyright infringement intended here): “EcoWanderlust launched with the mission of promoting ecotourism, sustainable, responsible, experiential, and wellness travel while spotlighting ecohotels, ecotourist destinations, and sustainable travel developments from around the world.”
The Earth is suffering and is in a dire state, there is no space for doubts about the terrible impact mankind has on the environment.
We all need to act. Every penny we spend, every decision we make to contribute to a more local and sustainable economy is a step forward. Choosing to be part of the solution instead of the problem is an everyday challenge but it can clearly be done in a nice way and even when travelling. I think that’s what this magazine is going to demonstrate and that’s why I was so touched by it and wanted to share with you.
Just to be 100% clear, I’m not affiliated in anyway to EcoWanderlust or Wander-mag. I was just so impressed and liked both the website and magazine so much that I had to tell you!!
What are you waiting for? Go check Wander out!
I’m sad to see you leave, but I hope you will be back 😉
