A Road Trip in Slovenia

Slovenia is an ideal country for a road trip. Not too big, not too small and so much to see and do!

Roads are usually in excellent condition and easy to navigate (do not forget your vignette). If you don’t like mountain roads, than part of this itinerary might be difficult (lake Bohinj and the Soča river) but apart from that it is really easy to get around. And don’t worry, accommodations are easy to find along the way.

As you can tell from the map, a lot of the most popular attractions are located West of Ljubljana which makes it easy to start and end, a road trip there if you are flying in.
