From Antalya, we rented a car to go to Cappadocia, after having visited Perge & Aspendos, it was time to hit the road but somehow at Manavgat, the GPS took us into a weird direction….
It started on a small road but ok…
The view was fantastic and we were ok with this unexpected itinerary…
But then the road turned to dust and rocks…
Climbing up mountains with only other mountains at sight…
No one, no phone connexion, but at least a refuge!
More mountain, more dust…
Getting a bit annoyed with the GPS!
Despite the beauty…
… it was just not getting any better after 2 hours…
Goats meant people near by? maybe a village? right?
Wrong!
We did get out of the mountain eventually !
And were finally back on the correct road. Which after all that seemed really really dull!
Arrived at Ushisar….
…and in one piece in Goreme our destination!
More often than not, I have little faith in GPS capabilities. This time it made me doubt, it surprised me, made me mad and lots of everything in between! Always have a map… not just a GPS!

own a similar one and i was just curious if you get a lot
of spam responses? If so how do you protect against it, any plugin or anything you can advise?

Hi there,
Yes I get lot’s of spams. I got the Akismet plugin installed but it doesn’t prevent all spams. Closing comments on older posts works great!
