Finding vegan shoes is getting so much easier nowadays. Believe me, I know! 😉 Yeah ok, I’m a girl who needs shoes!! However finding vegan hiking shoes is still not that easy. Luckily Mr A found some great ones just in time before our last trip…
There are a few companies out there who do not use leather on their shoes but it doesn’t mean the result is completely vegan. To be sure the shoes are 100% vegan, I personally prefer to buy my shoes from reputable companies who have made their speciality to create great vegan products. The Vegetarian Shoes is one of them.
The Vegetarian Shoes
If you don’t know the Vegetarian Shoes, you’re missing out! It’s a company that have been creating vegan shoes for 25 years. Talk about great experience. They have a super cute shop in Brighton, UK where we used to go at every occasion we had, when leaving in London. Yes, I never hesitated to hop on a train for a one hour ride, to buy a pair of shoes, or 2 😉
There are several good things about the Vegetarian Shoes:
- Their shoes are quite affordable (compare to some other companies).
- Style is often simple but timeless.
- Great quality.
- 100% vegan.
- Super service, quick to send online orders.
- They have Airseal boots!!! Yeah!!!
OK and their packaging is super cute too! Biodegradable plastic with style! A detail that counts.
The Approach Mid
The Approach Mid are lightweight hiking shoes made from faux suede and breathable synthetic canvas. Your ankles are well protected in these shoes which will be ideal for hiking almost all year around. The soles are super comfy, and the inside lining is just padded enough to remain breathable and comfortable.
A little bit of water proofing and we were ready to adventure all the rivers and gorges, Slovenia has to offer.
Mr A got the brown ones but they also come in black. Do check them out, you won’t regret buying these shoes.
