France is an incredible country! Being French, I may be a little biased but it is true that France is unlike any other destinations. France has the prettiest and most romantic cities, and it’s not just Paris! It has the most charming villages scattered everywhere. France also has the most diverse and picturesque landscapes, an incredible rich history with the most beautiful castles, cathedrals, palaces and so forth. Just come along to discover France and wander around this amazing country!
Told you I was biased!! 😉
Paris special: a walking tour map!
You can’t really travel to France and not see Paris. And you can’t really see Paris and not see its most famous landmarks. Some consider it too ‘touristy’ to want to see the Eiffel tower or the Louvre. I think it is a snobbish attitude, which will only lead you to miss out. If you have a lot of time on your hands, by all means, do explore more unconventional places. But if your first stay is short, don’t miss out on such iconic places.
To help you I have created a walking tour map which is free to download. Click on the image below to be taken to the corresponding page.
The places in France I love!
There are so many places I want to show you. Just too many. You can click on the tag “France” to see a list of the articles I have published so far or browse below. As some of you know (dear RTatW Newsletter readers, this is you!) I’ve recently decided to increase my posting about France. I will continue to do so, because it only seems fair!
Road tripping in France
Road tripping in France is so easy & driving around allows you to see so much. The only issue is that no matter how much time you spend in France, you’ll never be able to see everything.
With my maps, I’ll do my best to help you decide what you want to see. To set priorities although, admittedly, it’s just really hard to decide!
For now, I only have silly ‘themed’ maps. These are getting a bit old and on those, my drawings do not match what I do now. These are still places you might enjoy so I’m linking those maps below anyway. Be forgiving about the drawings quality, please!!

Self promotion ahead!
I’m a little bit proud of my drawings of the Paris’ landmarks. Notre Dame only took me 16 hours to draw, you know! 😉
Now as you may have realized, I have a Society6 shop where you can buy art prints, notebooks and all sorts of stuffs, some of which are pretty cool. If you want to support me and RTatW, do not hesitate to browse around and even buy something! If you don’t want to buy but like what you see, you can also share with your friends! That would be much appreciated.
A lot of those designs and drawings are available for free on my not so secret postcard page. I made those and many other creations, available to RTatW Newsletter readers, to thank them for being there for me.
If you want to join and get access to these drawings, you just need to subscribe to RTatW newsletter (you can use the form below). With the welcome email, you will get the password to this special page!
I think RTatW newsletter is pretty cool although soooooo irregular! Once again I’m totally biased! What can I say?! 😉
It will take me for ever to catch up on all the places I’d like to tell you about…
So here are some random pictures to which I’ll add regularly… Enjoy!
And more!
